The Facebook movie - Yeah, you heard it right!

A producer and script writer Aaron Sorkin will write a movie of the famous social networking community site Facebook, which Scott Rudin will be producing for Columbia. Sorkin commented the movie at his Facebook profile and asked the Facebook community the stories regarding the site.

"I understand there are a few other people using Facebook pages under my name -- which I find more flattering than creepy -- but this is me. I don't know how I can prove that but feel free to test me", Sorkin says and adds: "I figured a good first step in my preparation would be finding out what Facebook is, so I've started this page. (Actually it was started by my researcher, Ian Reichbach, because my grandmother has more Internet savvy than I do and she's been dead for 33 years.)"

Sorkin is previously famous from creating the West Wing tv-show and Charlie Wilson's War movie, where Tom Hanks is acting. Rudin's work is in the other hand Revolutionary Road including Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as acting.

No date is available or the Facebook movie name either as of yet.

The Anti-Energy-Drink

This time on the series of weird products, a Drank Beverage "energy-drink" blows up the fact that this is not actually energy-drink, but more like anti-energy-drink. According to its producers, Drank is very very popular in Houston, it's sold throughout the liquor and convenience stores. And what best, Drank makes you sleepy, the company's publicist says.

Drank is a carbonated, grape-flavored beverage spiked with melatonin, valerian root and rose hips, and it's good with vodka. We have seen the world stores getting filled up with hundreds of different energy-drinks, but this is something really special.

A direct copypaste from the Drank press release:
"From design to production, every aspect of this calming drink was inspired by today’s popular hip hop artists who embrace the much sought-after hip hop lifestyle that encourages people to capture a stress-free state of mind."

Taekwondoka kicks referee directly to head at the Olympics

A Cuban taekwondoka Angel Valodia Matos kicked the referee directly to head on purpose. The kick happened after the Swedish referee Chakir Chelbatia had announced Matos as a loser of the Bronze match at the Olympic Games 2008. According to Matos, this kick was a protest towards Chelbatia's decision. Matos used too much time for curing his leg and therefore the referee checked this action as "cancellation" and so he announced him a match loser.

Losing a nerve control was destructive to Matos, when an international Taekwondo union set a permanent ban for Matos and his coach. The ban means Matos can't participate to any of the championship games the union is organizing.

Scientists unravel "galactic spaghetti monster"

Scientists have found out new information of the galaxy, which reminds them as "galactic spaghetti monster", namely Galaxy NGC 1275 in Perseus. The scientists note that there are some "spaghetti-like gas filaments around a black hole". I'm not sure why they are calling this as spaghetti monster, but for me the picture of this galaxy reminds the hell more likely.

What NewScientistScope explains about the galaxy is the following: "As the black hole sucks in gas from its surroundings, it powers jets of matter that produce bubbles of energetic particles in the surrounding cluster gas. As these bubbles grow and rise, cooled gas from NGC 1275's core gets drawn into long tendrils in their wake, like the strings that trail behind balloons."
